Photo Competition 2023-24

Published by Sigrid on

Our photo comp social was held on Friday 22 March 2024 at Morley College, Waterloo Centre and was well attended by 26 members. After the viewing we served refreshments, a selection of savoury items and delicious home-baked cakes by Daphne, washed down with wine/juice or tea/coffee. Fifteen members submitted a total of 142 digital images across the five categories. Niki Sianni, who kindly judged our efforts again was also present to give her comments on each of her chosen finalists and the winning picture (see photos below – click on photos to see full image). Thank you all for having made the event a success. Congratulations to Sue C who was the overall winner of the ‘Maria Lee’ prize with her picture ‘Sulphur Mountain, Hokkaido’.

NB: the special subject for the 2024 competition is ‘A tight squeeze’, suggested by one of our members and regular participants in the competition. Please remember that only photographs taken during this year (i.e. Jan – Dec 2024) will be accepted. Happy snapping!
