Winner of Maria Lee Prize. ‘Walk around Hatfield House’ by Carole S.

Our photo comp social was held on Friday 17 March at Morley College, Waterloo Centre and was well attended by 22 members. At the end we served refreshments, savoury items and delicious home-baked cakes made by Daphne, washed down with tea/coffee/juice and wine. Fifteen members submitted a total of 143 digital images across the five categories. We were very pleased that our new judge, Niki Sianni, could be with us on this occasion and give us her comments on each of her chosen finalists and the winning picture – see photos below. Thank you all for having made the event a success.  Congratulations to Carole S who was the overall winner of the ‘Maria Lee’ prize with her picture ‘Walk around Hatfield House’.

NB: the special subject for 2023 competition is ‘Modes of Transport’. Please remember that only photographs taken during this year (i.e. Jan – Dec 2023) can be accepted.

Happy snapping! Sigrid
