Photo Competition 2021-2

Published by Morley Ramblers on

Our photo comp social was held on Friday 4 March at Morley College and was well attended on this occasion – no longer having to observe restrictions we could provide refreshments, savoury items and delicious home-baked cakes made by two of our members, washed down with tea/coffee/juice and wine. We had a good response with 19 members entering photographs – a total of 182 digital images were received across the five categories. We were very pleased that Steve Mepsted, who kindly judged our efforts again, could be with us on this occasion and his valuable comments on each of his chosen finalists and the winning picture were much appreciated – see photos below. Thank you all for having made the event a success.  Congratulations to Howard S who was the overall winner of the ‘Maria Lee’ prize with his picture ‘Friends Meeting House, Brigflatts’.

NB: the special subject for 2022/23 competition is ‘Regeneration’ and please remember that only photographs taken during this year (ie Jan – Dec 2022) can be accepted. Happy snapping! Sigrid
