Berwick to Exceat, 6 June

Train: Victoria 8.54, change at Lewes (arr 9.56, dep 10.14), arr Berwick 10.25. Buy a return from Victoria to Berwick 

The Walk: 7 to 8 miles along the South Downs.  We shall follow the Vanguard Way to Alfriston via Berwick and its notable church.  After lunch we proceed to Exceat thence bus to Seaford to catch the train to Lewes. 

You will need to buy a ticket for the short journey back to Lewes. 

Lunch: Alfriston.  Bring a picnic or buy something at the cafe on the green.
