Bayford (Herts) Circular, 10 Jan

The walk is seven miles, with a long morning  and a short afternoon. 

Trains: Moorgate 9.16, Finsbury Park 9.30, arr Bayford (Herts) 10.03.

You will need a  ticket from zone 6 to Bayford return. (NB The ticket machines at Finsbury didn’t offer this and the ticket office was closed but this was just after New Year.) Return trains are every half hour.

Lunch: is at the Five Horses, Little Berkhampstead. This is nearer the end than the beginning of the walk so, as the morning is long, a pre-pub snack is advised.
