Morley Ramblers on holiday

No walks are organised for Saturdays 22 and 29 August, as we prepare for and recover from our annual walking holiday. However, we have suggestions for substitutes:

Saturday 22 August

Meet Tony and Mary-Jane opposite the Elephant and Castle railway station entrance, amongst the elephant statues at 10.45. (From the Northern or Bakerloo lines head down the New Kent Road and turn right at Sainsbury’s).

A short walk is through pocket parks and churchyard, via East Street Market to reach Burgess Park. We will head towards Peckham where various options for public transport can be given. Those in need of a longer walk could venture to Peckham Rye, but the led finish point will be the South London Gallery which currently has an excellent exhibition which ends on August 23rd.

Saturday 29 August

Morley College Ramblers members are invited to join the walk of London North HF Group: Hammersmith Circular, six miles, easy pace.

Meet at 10.30 by the ticket machines at Hammersmith Picadilly and District lines. Led by Daphne
