Trains: London Bridge 9.48, Hayes 10.21 (Travel zone 5). There are 4 trains an hour home.

Lunch: Keston

The walk is not more than 6 miles and no climbs of note. Walking is mostly on woodland paths; mud is not too bad, but poles could be useful in places.

We cross some roads with great care.

There are no toilets on the train, or at Hayes Station. We will stop in Keston for a cafe or pub drink after less less than an hour. We will then loop around Keston ponds and the Ravenstone Nature area, returning to Keston for lunch.
