Caterham – now to Hurst Green. Saturday 20 November

Published by Crisps on

This walk has been re routed in the afternoon to end at Hurst Green Station. This is because of shorter daylight hours and to avoid the steep climb up the scarp slope of the North Downs. The walk is still around 8 to 9 miles.

The morning climbs up to the N Downs then along wooded paths, across fields to Godstone after which it passes by ponds to Tandridge. The afternoon is mainly flat following the Greensand Way and wooded alleyways behind quiet private roads with large mansions. There are some short muddy stretches.
