Provisional walks from 17 April

Published by Morley Ramblers on

If the Government’s planned dates are confirmed we will be able to start our group walks again from Saturday, April 17th. A provisional programme has been circulated to members and is available in Club News on the Club Page (visible if you have logged in). A brief version is also available on the Programme page. NB this programme may be subject to change, even if group walks go ahead.

The walk leader will decide the number of people on each walk – so you will need to book your place in advance with the leader. The walk leader will update you with the details – train times etc – when your place on the walk is confirmed. Train timetables are still subject to change. We can’t predict with any certainty what refreshments or toilet stops will be open until Covid restrictions have ended. We will do our best to ensure as many people as possible are able to join in during this programme .

We hope the Government will confirm that informal gatherings for two households or groups of six can start from Monday, March 29th. Members should note that travel restrictions will still apply then and Morley Ramblers cannot advertise group activities before the April 12th announcement is confirmed.

However if you wish to find someone else to walk with, or maybe lead your own group of six, Tony A has volunteered to receive your messages and coordinate some strolls if at all practicable.

Tony himself is planning walks on Wednesday, March 31st, Wednesday, April 7th and Saturday April 10th and hopes the maximum numbers allowed will join him.
